Germanders Viking Yule Festival

Each year Vasa Park transforms into a living, breathing Viking village for Yule, and this year we were fortunate to brave the cold and bring a little Black Dragon magic to the celebration with our steampunk-forged glasswork. The event is an incredibly immersive, in‑depth look and feel of Norse life—longhouses aglow, roaring communal fires, costumed craftsmen and storytellers weaving ancient tales—so authentic you can almost hear the creak of oars and the hiss of the hearth. Our glass pieces caught the firelight like captured auroras, each one a one‑of‑a‑kind gift born from the clash of hammer and flame, but alas, in the rush and wonder of it all we didn’t manage to take many photographs. Still, the memory of steam, sparks, and laughter against a winter sky lingers—proof that some moments are best carried back home in the chest where tales and treasures live.
